12/15/2023 0 Comments Iberostar paraiso maya grandMostly the free shows are the same, but with different costumes. But the shows in the atrium are too loud and with so much echo as to be annoying. We paid for the Dia de Muertos show in the theater and it was nice. The lobby bar entertainment used to be great, good talent, mellow music you could talk through. I liked it better when theater shows were included. You know who's coming and when, so staff up when you need to. And I don't want to hear they are at a high capacity as an excuse. We still tip them because it's not their fault. So the poor few trying to keep up simply can't. So the waiters end up running around needlessly for this stuff when they could be bringing drinks or other food related things. In the Buffet no table is ever fully set, they are always missing something like salt and pepper, spoons, sugar, etc. There was nothing International about it this time. It the past it meant Japanese food, Italian food, Mexican food, etc. We specifically went to the International Buffet for dinner one night and I have no idea why they now call it that. You can barely chew the or cut them.Īlthough there seems to be a huge variety at the buffet, selections rarely change. The vegetables are scarce and practically raw. It's the prepared foods that should be hot that are cold. And I'm not talking about the food that is supposed to be cold. Still recovering from that 6 days later.Īll pre-made foods at any buffet are always cold. Sorry to say I got a medically confirmed case of Salmonella my last day at the French. Anything they do in LA Brisa seems to flop. We used to love the Japanese tepenyaki when you could choose some things. Every meal there was delicious and service was good. And judging by the lack of these complaints being addressed, it's sad because you eat three meals a day there. Most of the food complaints you read are true. Unfortunately, this is where thing fall down. Thank you and keep improving this aspect as you can. No single us anything! No plastic bottles is a huge benefit, they serilize their own water and provide it in reusable glass bottles. We very much appreciate and respect all the Iberostar efforts at being environmentally conscious. Floors are polished, brass is polished and carpets vacuumed. Everything in the buildings and the grounds are immaculately kept and maintained. If Iberostar ever does away with them, we will not return. In 5 minutes security brought my phone to me! I simply can't say enough good about them. My phone fell out of my pocket one night and the butler asked what my phone number was. They greet us coming out of the elevator with big smiles and we love just talking with them. The make all our dinner and show reservations, bring things we need in the room and everything in between. They are eager to help and take care of anything you ask of them. We see them every year and they are like family and friends to us. There were a couple others who "filled in" once in a while, my apologies I don't remember everyone, but the above five are exceptional!
